first installment of my june hols! sorry to all those who have been waiting for a loooong time =)

my whole family went to america america america!

rather fun and exciting except that i went back there was tons and tons of work to do!
picture taken at the airport. oh my gosh this time it really was a killer flight from singapore all the way to alabama. from singapore to tokyo, then to los angeles, then to denver (spelling?!) then to alabama. it was so crazy. my butt hurt after sitting in the airplane for 24 hours!

after one night in alabame it was immediately off to space camp.my team was von tiesenhausen. what a mounthful.

i think thats the saturn V rocket if im not wrong. oh dear i cant remember now. anyway, its a real rocket that was built. compare us to the size of that thing O.o

there was a sudden influx of students from India because two schools came with a whole delegation of students to attend the camp. my school should do it too! itll be such awesome fun and bonding haha. if we can go to wales then why not space camp?!

yogi and me while we were waiting for area 51 games. we kept pronouncing her name wrongly during the camp! darn funny. she keeps laughing at weird things that sends us (or maybe just me) laughing again. oh and she really got on devin's nerves, especially with all the bad words. " why are you so negative?' haha!

our team photo! with the butt of the rocket in it too. i have no idea why this is the spot for official team photos. i think in one of the photos the guys behind us why raising their feet above us girls. and bala or 'chicken' lost their balance and fell down. thats why we re all in a riot in the second picture. XP

whee happy memories. the guys were really spastic throughout the whole camp. and lucky them, some of them are in the same school with other so they can get to reminisce and still get understood.

my group at area 51. haha our team name was holly pamper. just so in case holly finds this post about her and kills me, i wont repeat what happened at the pamper pole. but the pole is just a tall telephone pole with staplers driven into it, and you have to climb it (of course you are strapped into a harness and on belay), climb to the top and get on top of the small disc on top of the pole. swivel around and jump off, trying to hit a white rope dangling a few feet away from you. some of the guys couldnt even get onto the disc, much less jump. and added plus to the fear factor is that the disc moves, and the long slender pole sways in the wind
